About Us
Philosophy
We are a child-directed environment, for littles ages 2-entering first grade, rich in play and the exploration of nature. We allow the children the space to follow their interests in order to support a deeper understanding of the beautiful world around them.
Our approach is play based, incorporating elements from Waldorf, Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. We blend all of these philosophies together with loose parts to create a dynamic program in a peaceful outdoor setting.
We know from research that children who play outdoors are happier and feel less anxious. They also develop connections with others and nature while developing a sense of curiosity about the world around them. We provide a natural environment with open ended objects for children to practice their creativity and imagination.
